The collection WOULD YOU PLEASE LISTEN explores the journey of healing following sexual violence. Surgical imagery including represents a brutal invasion of the body and the ways in which flesh can be held together and the broken body supported. Using plaster casts further separates the body from oneself to portray an unfamiliarity and discomfort in one’s own skin.
