The Happiness Garden

I have made illustrations of gardens in different colours and seasons, with flowers and plants that are very much alive, like they could wrap their owners in warmth. I made this project initially to heal myself  from anxieties with the pressures of academic life. Wanting a happy place, I visited many gardens, and  no matter how big or small, being inside the garden made me feel relaxed. I recorded details and then painted them. Many people choose to return to a simple, natural life so that they can forget their worries, and I hope that my work can give the viewer the same feeling.
