Veve Shamhong is a multi-disciplinary artist who is driven by a love for research and play. Exploring the margin between ‘high’ and ‘low’ culture, her work aims to investigate topical subjects to interrogate societal perceptions and development. She aims to encourage debate and inquisitiveness through her work. Influenced by the unsettling visual language of the internet, Veve incorporate a variety of approaches within her moving-image pieces to create a performative, playful and uncanny feel.
