The works I am displaying for this online exhibition are from two separate projects in my final semester of studying at the University of Brighton. The first series are watercolour and ink paintings, which I created using the novel Tender is the Flesh by Agustina Bazterrica as inspiration. I found this project very enjoyable to make as it had been a long time since I had done any painting. I liked to explore the themes within the novel and create a series of work that felt linked.

The second series of images are lino cut prints of my pets. I created these for my last project. I wanted to focus on imagery that made me happy and therefore decided to choose some of my favourite animals as the subject for the work.
