I am a multidisciplinary illustrator working mainly with analogue and digital imagery to focus on portraying messages important to me. I often focus on themes of subculture, womanhood, politics and Britain. In my most recent project I explore the world of Punks and Skinheads, which is a constant inspiration for me within my work as someone who grew up surrounded by the subculture. This is communicated visually through my use of character design, scenery and often very overpowering, hectic compositions. I enjoy working in large scale pieces to make my work quite overwhelming and impactful and often elevating it with the use of audio, 3D pieces or animation. Creating large bodies of work as part of a single project really fuels me creatively and I have found myself drawn to forming these into installations. A lot of my work does consist of vulgar and obscene imagery which I use as an eye catcher, also quite surrealist imagery to try and communicate the way in which I see the world and also the messages I want to convey.
