Hello! This is Froso, many people know me as Effey.

I’m an illustrator/storyteller originally from Cyprus and now based in Brighton!

In my practice I mainly work in sketchbooks, usually sketching or drawing with my black ink pens. I like to record objects and landscapes from all around me, it’s like a reminder of what I’ve seen, what made an impression to me, without it only being captured as a photograph.

I enjoy the stillness and the absence of people in my drawings. They seem very quiet, unlike the world we live in.
