My work is often centred around a specific line of enquiry, and unfolds as an investigation into the subject matter. This year there was a central focus into the family: with outcomes seeking an approach to difficult subjects such as dementia, the mother and daughter relationship and abortion.

During my time spent at Brighton University I have developed a passion for filmmaking, in particular the entanglement of my own filmed content with found footage. This interaction paired with the heavy nature of the topics I choose to delve into offers me a sense of catharsis throughout my working process and delivering my outcomes. I hope to offer the audience an intriguing displaced sense of time and place with the material I use, but a central point of nostalgia and relevance to everyone with the subjects I investigate!
