‘Cup.Cup.Cup.’ is a piece of sculptural work of three separate hot drinks, designed to be both unassuming and thought-provoking to the audience. Making, drinking, or being offered a hot beverage is something everyone can relate to; it can be seen as a unifying activity. Each cup has a different design to signify the differences between individuals. I hope that these variations allow people to reflect upon themselves and their relationships with others. Although this piece has a significant meaning, I wanted it to have a warm and comforting nature, which will draw people in, much like a soothing cup of tea.
