A multidisciplinary visual artist, designer, and collector of stuff. My work focuses on tactility and the relationship between image and experience. Usually manifesting as an analogue print and mostly concluding projects using a printmaking process.
My final major project explored Transport for London’s Lost Property Office, shining a light on overlooked stories and statistics found from TFL’s corporate archives providing me with artefacts to investigate and elaborate with dating back to 1964. I generated a narrative of visual and typographic pieces based on three case studies, which re-claim lost property with a new generated meaning and with appropriation of perhaps outdated and unseen elements of British heritage. Culminating with a body of printed matter outcomes using a range of creative strategies that reactivates the stories and emphasises the physicality of inside the Lost Property Office.
