The project is based on a circle. Inspired by the work of sculptor Seon- Ghi Bahk, I started the project. He made a sculpture by hanging charcoal using nylon strings. Many charcoal sculptures look like a whirlwind, a group of dots, and various circles. Based on this, I researched each data and developed it. Firstly, with a circle garland, I developed it in various ways. Wrapping the garland around the body like a whirlwind, or weaving the garland tightly together to form a shape. And I made many circles on fabric and designed it. Based on the design made in this process, I made the line-up and clothes for this project. Also, the colours are made using the colours of charcoal. In addition to black and grey, red, orange, and yellow, which occur in the process of making charcoal, were also used as significant colours. Also, I tried to show you the process of making charcoal using double-sided colours on clothes. I wanted to show the colour by attaching grey, red, orange, and yellow on both sides like charcoal fire.
