Revision of the Old Steine Regeneration Program with the introduction of cultural spaces. The proposal acts as a symbol of environmental awareness as the buildings create a time capsule of the environmental impact that our society will face by the sea level rise. A gradual decay caused by the use of salt and metal is creating a short and long term visual effect on the exterior and interior of the cultural spaces. This allows the public to visually anticipate a more solid understanding of the environmental crisis. The unique geometry, as well as the landscape, arise from site constraints in an attempt to preserve the views and the historic contextual boundaries of a Grade II listed building situated next to the project.
