Game Creation Process

I have been many things in my life but always fundamentally creative; moving into games and virtual worlds has given me the freedom to build the imaginable and tell stories that would be difficult to tell otherwise. The creative process, user interactions, visuals and outcomes drive me to do more and think bigger.
As an older student I can use previous experience to shape my work and think differently. Teamwork and the process is essential to quality outcomes; from the initial ideation and throwing ideas around with fellow students or teammates, through to the quality process and testing ( with user feedback ) its important to draw energy from others and reflect that light onto your work – with your own spin of course 🙂
I believe in inclusivity and the need for any creative journey to include the needs of people outside the norm whilst still focusing on your core audience and product.
Having grown up in Africa and moving to the UK at 18 I have experienced a lot of change, both cultural and ideological and draw on this in my work and creative process. There is always more than one way to tell a story and connecting what I have to say with multiple audiences to meet them where they are in life is a driving force for me.
This few years of university has opened up my mind to the virtual world and the power of games to transcend the norm and tell my stories through this newer medium, I am excited by the future with new tools and AI that will help us tell our stories better, quicker and with even more flare, I love to learn new things!
