Throughout my project I have been looking at over the top ornate decor, my starting point focused predominately on imagery from the baroque period, drawing inspiration from the exaggerated and over the top shapes, before branching out to looking at theatrical statues and architecture from various points in time throughout history, then giving the traditional and classic imagery a modernized twist by using an expressive and bright colour palette across my collection to give a more contemporary feel.
