STATEMENT OF INTENT:

My project revolves around me making a culture of stools that intrigue the viewer. Most of these stools are based off particular people and experiences. Going from the work styles to who they are as a person. I am also looking into how I can use my versatility as a woodworker to get more thought provoking outcomes. I tried to hold myself to a week by week project but still trying to make as much as possible, treating myself as if I am a machine. This form of removal allows me to identify my different strengths as a maker and as a designer. In this final term I have refined by looking back on what worked and didn’t work from the previous term.
