MA Sustainable Design
The MA Sustainable Design course provides an intensive programme of design and research training. We use design research to examine the challenges of sustainable development and pursue original ideas for more sustainable futures. Our students develop personally defined projects in response to established and emerging themes that are shaping current debates in sustainable development.
Study themes include Decolonising Design, Pluriveral Design, Circular Economy, Radical Feminisms, Future Casting, Design Politics and Ethics.
The course supports students to set new ambitions in the fields of sustainability and design. We work across disciplinary and professional boundaries to develop insights into issues at the forefront of sustainable development. We equip our students with the knowledge and skills needed to adapt and respond to established and emerging challenges with intellectual agility, creativity and confidence.
Our graduates progress to pioneer new directions in design, research, and entrepreneurship.
