MA Interior Design
The MA Interior Design course places an emphasis upon curiosity and speculation and supports the development of tools of enquiry, reflection and debate in spatial design.
The course is focused on encouraging students to question all aspects of architectural and spatial design and to articulate and situate their work within the context of contemporary design practice, with an emphasis on sustainable practices.
Our starting point is to acknowledge the complexities and paradoxes inherent in orthodox spatial design practice in order to unearth the dubious simplifications and missed opportunities that result from the tendency to fictionalise future use and impose fixed boundaries upon space, practice and occupation.
The course provides intensive programs of design and research, working cross-disciplinary across the School of Architecture, Technology & Engineering.
Our graduates have progressed to work in the design industry, research and entrepreneurship.
The following work was completed by students from the course over the last few years.
